Master’s Thesis
Towards Explainable Machine Learning Approach to Traffic Crash Outcomes Prediction
- Developed predictive models for traffic crash occurrence and severity using interpretable machine learning.
- Utilized iRAP-coded road safety attributes from street view imagery across hazardous roads in Dhaka and historical crash data.
- Achieved ROC-AUC scores of 0.83 for crash occurrence and 0.72 for severity using LightGBM.
- SHAP analysis highlighted key crash determinants.
Undergraduate Thesis
Cricket Score and Win Probability Prediction using Machine Learning Techniques
- Developed a machine learning model with 97.62% accuracy to predict cricket match outcomes.
- Introduced novel features to capture match dynamics.
- Utilized Random Forest Regressor for score prediction and Logistic Regression for win probability, trained on 15 years of ODI and T20I data.
Undergraduate Directed Research
Liver Cirrhosis Prediction using Explainable Machine Learning Techniques
- Investigated liver cirrhosis detection using machine learning on medical attributes.
- Achieved 88.57% accuracy with the Stochastic Gradient Descent model.
- Implemented Explainable AI (XAI) techniques to interpret the model.
